Letter From the Director

Dear Tutors, Parents, and Guests:

The main goals of the Program are to support active learning among scholars and tutors and to promote a direct, positive, and measurable effect on their academic achievement. Our tutorial program is committed to working closely with each academic department at our school. Each student must be engaged and active in a disciplined and relevant learning community to realize his/her potential.

The Program provides the opportunity and access for all students to be involved in a high quality learning experience. The Program will select students to be trained, as tutors, based on academic achievement, faculty recommendation, good conduct and school involvement. We believe your child possesses the qualities to be an educational champion and serve as a role model for other students. The position requires dedication, time management and a drive to be the best. This is an employment position where the job duties will enhance your communication, leadership, and work skills, therefore promoting excellence through academics.

Let us remember the Creed we live by;
...“I want to be somebody, someday!”

Sincerely,
Bill Sehnert
Director, Peer Power Program
